newsdircli

This bash script is intended to facilitate treating a remote directory as a news or mail feed. I use it to manage my contact page inbox. It should work just as well for any other scenario where an ssh-accessible machine has a directory whose files you want to treat as messages addressed to you and considered "sent" at the time the respective files were last modified.

Installation

On a Linux machine with bash installed, copy newsdircli into the directory /usr/local/bin.

Usage

In a terminal, enter newsdircli --help for further instructions.
